Wish to donate to the restoration of an African American landmark? Funds are needed to complete the restoration of the James H. Webb log cabin near Preston, Maryland. This Caroline County landmark is the surviving home of a local free resident, James H. Webb. The cabin dates to 1852, and survives as not only a rare slavery-era African American structure but also as an equally rare log cabin structure. Click here for more information about the Webb log cabin. |
